Hodge Podge Lodge: Serene Lakes Retreat

This was first time in the area, We had most wonderful stay at hodge podge lodge. The house was beautiful and sparking clean, well organized and have everything what we needed for stay. It located in nice neighborhood near soda spring ski resort. The house was warm and cozy , heater was good , wood stove was nice touch with plenty of firewood supplies. The bedroom was spacious and beds were comfortable. It was big plus to have easy in and out drive way to the house. We definitely recommend this place!!

Everything a family would need for a cozy weekend - coffee, non- Keurig coffee machine, well stocked kitchen for cooking, easy access from driveway, electric blanket on our bed, large upstairs bathroom, and lots of post it notes about how things work in this vintage cabin.

Cozy little cabin. A-frame set up for ski trips and lounging after. We were a small group and it worked well. You could do parents and 3 kids and be comfy. The wood stove is easy to operate. The owner was also very communicative and proactively tried to solve a little appliance issue that we ran into. It’s not fancy and some of the electrical was interesting—old cabin stuff. The switch for the garbage disposal is right on the face of the counter top. That’s my only gripe. Downstairs is fun to hangout in after a day outside. Soda Springs area is close Sugarloaf. And the neighborhood is cute. Huge snow drifts this year. And there’s a friendly neighborhood dog who visits and was kind of fun. Wood stove kept the place perfectly warm and added some more comfy, rustic atmosphere. p.s. The driveway is a circle, and easy! I didn’t see that until day 2 :)

We loved this comfortable and nicely appointed cabin at Serene Lakes. The house is in a great location. It was nicely furnished and worked really well for our family of 4 plus our dog. We plan to stay here again!
