Spacious Family Retreat in Ogden

Do feel this home could use an accurate description.1. The bed sizing is inaccurate, w/mismatching sizes given. Main listing says nothing smaller than a double, but both downstairs beds are twins & even the bigger beds seem small.2. The doorways & ceilings are shorter than average. Which is fine if you have children or people of short stature. Unfortunately, we did not & these details are not in the listing. Host told us we should have known from the pictures. We had to book another home to accommodate all guests.3. Stairs, both going up & down, are not of standard size footing, are steep & both have a curve. Could be difficult for some and are precarious. Luckily they do have hand railings.4. Title says "Tranquil Neighborhood", definitely is not. The house is on the corner of a 24/7 busy street. 5. There was an extreme amount of spiders, even for the season & I like spiders. This was addressed to the host, w/multiple pictures. Though not sure how much they actually took it into consideration to get the house treated.6. There are very large access areas, one in the basement for the crawl space & one in the upstairs for the attic. Neither of the doors have locks, nor good insulation from the elements & are not safe spaces. The doors just look like closets. Just a heads up, especially if you have littles.7. The house has an aged scent.The house worked, but definitely older and not as advertised. Has it quirks & needs to be detailed correctly. No concern host.

Huge, beautiful house! Perfect for dogs. Positive: Fantastic location - close to a gigantic park and downtown. Huge house with so much space! Negative: Messaged to see if we could get in early and did not hear back. Parking is less than ideal on a busy road.

The house is close to a loud main road. The road was noisy all night long. You can tell that the house is old, and they did a makeover remodel.

We liked the house and had a good stay, but when we arrived the home had not been cleaned. We had to stay at a hotel the first night until cleaned.

Overall the stay was great. A few minor things: you can definitely tell this house was remodeled very quickly. The stairs were a little scary walking up and down. They had listed a blender and we did not see one. It was cleans and well organized
